1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how RD Sec collects and uses personal information through rdsec.co (and www.rdsec.com), our consulting and managed security services, and the RDSec Security Dashboard (our monitoring platform for customers' firewalls).

2. Information we collect

• Contact information you give us: name, business e-mail, phone number, company and job title.
• Account information for RDSec Security Dashboard users: name, business e-mail, role, and - only if the user chooses - a mobile phone number for SMS sign-in codes and security alerts.
• Security telemetry from the customer systems we are hired to monitor (for example firewall logs). It is processed on the customer's own appliance and used only to deliver the service.
• Basic website data: pages visited and technical information such as browser type.

3. How we use it

To provide, secure and support our services; to send sign-in verification codes and the security alerts users ask for; to answer requests; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. SMS / text messaging

• Mobile numbers are collected only when a user enters and verifies their own number and opts in to receive SMS from the RDSec Security Dashboard (sign-in codes and security alerts). See our SMS Terms.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf (our SMS carrier/aggregator).
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out, HELP for help.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example e-mail and SMS delivery, hosting), under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law. We never sell or rent it.

6. Security and retention

We protect information with encryption, access controls and monitoring, and keep it only as long as needed for the service or as required by law.

7. Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP, or contact us).
